Normal when our past, now, is

Newly abnormal?

Wasn’t it always

So, and don’t we overstate,

Slightly, the moment

We live in – strange times,

Strangely recasting our selves

For the new normal?

Isn’t it normal,

When living’s new and strange, to

Hope past lives survive?
